Well, we're finally almost here. We had to get up at o:dark hundred to get to the airport, and all those lines. But I got to flirt with all the ladies. Wow! It's an ISLAND. I can't wait to taste the sand. We found "Uncle" Bill & "Aunt" Debbi already in line, so we joined them. We were supposed to get here first, but that didn't happen. First this line, then another line, are we ever going to be done. At least it's air conditioned in here now. Now we are standing OUTSIDE while Daddy arranges for a car. After 1/2 hour standing around in the HOT sun, they finally found a car... now where is the baby seat we reserved. I think they had to steal it from another family, but now at least I have something to complain about. I HATE car seats, just ask me.
It was really late by the time we bought groceries and then got some dinner on Saturday, so on Sunday I made them take me to a really nice place for brunch. But, guys, 3 HOURS for one meal?
I hope this isn't a trend.
Hey, why isn't MINE champagne? As long as I have some "O's" I'm happy. And there are some nice ladies to flirt with.
We went to see this Natural Bridge that Mommy & Daddy visited last time they were here, but it's gone now. Now, they just have this mini version left. But, the waves are cool
Just a few miles away (as the crow flies-and that would probably be easier than figuring out some of these roads) we found some ancient pictographs. Haven't these guys every heard of road signs? And cactus! Aren't we near the ocean?  How can there be cactus here? Did I mention that it's HOT? That's an owl across the way. It's all too much for me, I think I'll have a nap
The beach is so much fun, as long as no one makes me go in the ocean. Wanna hear how much noise one little baby can make? Just try me. Something over there looks interesting, I'm off to check it out if no one catches me first. Just you wait until I can walk! I found a friend - wanna play?
The big folks got to eat cheese fondue and meat fondue, and then CHOCOLATE fondue. Me, I just got more O's, and.. I flirted with the ladies. Mommy & Daddy are still smiling, I must be doing something right.
We went to see some people doing all kinds of native dances and playing strange instruments. I mean, who every heard of a Tingy-Lingy box? I wanted to go on stage and flirt with the ladies, but by this time I was too tired and had a little nap. Downtown Oranjestad, the capital city, is pretty at night. Lots of neat lights.
We went to this really nice place with a cool car. I like to look at cars. Oh, they're going to eat again. We got to watch the sunset while the eating was going on. It was pretty spectacular. But, I can only supervise all this eating for so long, then I need a NAP!
Sometimes it rains here in the desert by the ocean. The view from the balcony is great, and I can crawl around because I can't squeeze through the bars to get off. After the big rain storm there was a really neat rainbow.
Way down at the end of the beach, there is this rowboat that I thought we should take out for a ride, but no one agreed with me. So, we just took it's picture. Another beautiful Aruba sunset (this was really on the first night, but it seemed like a good way to end) I had fun in Aruba, and you can too. Hope to see you again soon.
Love,
Andy
