2008 Family West October 13 was Uncle Herb's 80th birthday and we were invited
to a lovely brunch at Enchantment Resort on Sunday. We joined Herb & Miriam,
cousins Adrienne & Carole, friends Laura and her dad Charlie, and friends from
CA Melva & Joe. A VERY good time was had by all.

2008 Family Picnic
Again held at Judi & Tony's place, we had a very small group this
year. Mom & Dad, of course, Debbi & Bill, Lenny & Rebecca, Aunt Teresa,
Kathy (up from Florida for a visit), and the new puppy Mariah. Michelle
and baby Lise were going to come, but that didn't happen. We only got
rained on for a short while and were able to spend most of the day
outside, swapping lies and eating a lot. Taking pictures of people
eating isn't that exciting, so I guess I didn't take too many. Perhaps
next year we'll get to meet Lise and Ema (who will be 3 by then).

Not present at the family
picnic, but we visited David & Ellen at their home outside
Boston where we enjoyed the gardens, the house tour, and a
lovely dinner
The 2007 family picnic was held at Judi & Tony's new place in July with many
of the family able to attend. Debbi & Bill were on their annual trek to the
right coast, and Michelle, Nicki, and Brianna represented the Pennsylvania
contingent. Joe & Marilyn enjoyed their time with grandchildren, nieces, etc.
Rena & Anthony and their respective spouses formed the downstate group. Lenny
and Rebecca and some assorted friends rounded out the party. Next year we hope
Tonya & Bobbie Jo and their children will be able to make it (with all their
children plus Joey B).
